MMI Year End Function 2018 [Pretoria Event Photographer]

It was time again for MMI’S annual year end function.  This year they went all out and hosted a colourful and eventful function that was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The staff was encouraged to dress up to suit the “carnival theme”.  I loved the happy vibes of this functions so much.

Just a few favourites.  All the images can be viewed under the client proofs.

Reach for a Dream – Dineo [Pretoria Event Photographer]

The Reach for a Dream Foundation have been assisting children with life-threatening illnesses in making their dreams come true.  This was the case for little Dineo who wants to be a police women when she grows up.  The SAPS – Brooklyn Station, assisted RFAD in making this dream a reality.  They gave Dineo the opportunity to be a police women for a day by creating a mock hi-jacking scenario at Brooklyn Primary School with the help of the K9 unit.

Just a few of my favourite images.  All the images can be viewed under the client proofs.

Our little police officer needed a uniform of course.

First our little police officer did a drill inspection and found an officer that did not comply…..

We were then alerted that there was a hi-jacking taking place at Brooklyn Primary.  Dineo got to drive in a high speed chase to the scene of the crime.

As always Captain Colette Weilbach assisted.

As well as Brigadier Kushie Nair, Station Commander for the Brooklyn police station.

The learners at Brooklyn Primary were ready to watch the mock hi-jacking scenario with Dineo and learn more about how to proceed in a real life situation.

Dineo was allowed to fire a rifle with blank ammunition.

And to meet our K9 hero.

Reach for a Dream also gave her a police lego set that she was over the moon about.

And slippers for Slipper Day.  Please remember to support Slipper Day on 11 May.

Biodent SA [Pretoria Commercial Photographer]

I recently photograph the dentistry practice of Dr Nico Verloop, Biodent SA.  Even though it is  a crisp and clean environment, you still feel welcome and relaxed there.

Dr Verloop and his staff are highly qualified and very friendly.  I would recommend their services to anybody.  Their practice is located in Lombardy Office Park, Pretoria East.

Reach for a Dream hosts Queen for a Day [Pretoria Event Photographer]

There is no better way to spent a Saturday then photographing a Reach for a Dream Function. Especially if it is a Queen for a Day Function.

The girls had a lovely time and I am sure they will remember this day for ever.

As usual, a couple of lovely people and organisations sponsored gifts, services and their time: Featherbrooke Children, Protea Hotel Hatfield, Jimnettes and Snr Queen of Africa – Angelica Nortjé.

Just a few of the highlights.  Al the images can be viewed under the client proofs.

Operation Healing Hands 2016 [Pretoria Event Photographer]

Operation Healing Hands is a wonderful non-profit organisation that assisted 14 people without medical aid, with some much needed surgery.  This wonderful initiative was started by a few wonderful docters in celebration of Madiba Day.  With the support of Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels, this non-profit grew into a large and successful project. Please take the time to browse through their website and join their facebook page to keep up to date with their projects.

On the 19th September Operation Healing Hands held an event at the Pretoria Country Club to thank everyone that was involved and assisted with the project.
